had homade pancakes about a cd size diameter (give or take a few cm) it was a good 4 cm thick and i had about 25 of em with some butter and honey and maple syrup

Just sprinkle a little lemon juice over the pancake, then a little sugar if you want and roll it up

There were feasts to use up the food that could not be eaten during the Lenten fast.

Christian Religion I guess. I guess that pancakes were made to use up these leftover foods before lent.
