had homade pancakes about a cd size diameter (give or take a few cm) it was a good 4 cm thick and i had about 25 of em with some butter and honey and maple syrup

Just sprinkle a little lemon juice over the pancake, then a little sugar if you want and roll it up :up:

Pancake Day - Shrove Tuesday
The day on which all fats and cream had to be used up.
There were feasts to use up the food that could not be eaten during the Lenten fast.

Christian Religion I guess. I guess that pancakes were made to use up these leftover foods before lent.
