Not gone gold?

Shouldn't SH4 have gone gold by now if its going to make the release date or is it usually a couple of weeks in advance. if it actually going to make the release date when should it turn gold?

It may be a while yet. Going gold typically denotes that the software is complete and copied to a master, which in turn is sent for dulplication (manufacturing).

Ahh, the calm before the storm...so many anxious subsim captains impatiently kicking pebbles around the dock, waiting to board their new boats.

I think the general practice is 2 weeks. So I'd expect it going gold by March 1st.
