In the stock SHIII sim, ice/icebergs are only modeled and seen when playing the single missions. The campaign never received the "finished product" of having ice floes in the northern regions.

Yes there is icebergs in GWX. Look in the humor photos sticky at the top of the page and look at the post for the 31st of January to see some.
The only thing you get for sinking them is some ice cubes! |

I once found an Iceberg on Sept.12, 1943 at AE828 (playing GWX). Pretty exciting. Shows up like a ship contact, but without sound in the hydrophone, of course. If there hadn't been storm, I'd had fired some shots at it for gunnery training.
