Google around, there are plenty of programs that will adjust your gamma, brightness and contrast settings. If your video card has a control center then you should be able to do it from there as well.

I have an ATI Radeon 1300.....I know where those settings are...but dont really know what to do with them...other than turn the brightness up...which sometimes spoils the rest of the display....but I guess it is trial and error......
