A Hummer and a school bus meet on the street. http://www.allfastcars.com/hummer-schoolbus.html The Hummer is no match in this situation. Last edited by Gizzmoe; 12-08-06 at 10:08 PM. Reason: Added website link |

How fast was that Hummer going?! They don't even go all that fast do they?

My theory is that the collision bumped the bus upward, with the hummer sliding under it, and the bus crushing it down from above.
Otherwise, the US army should consider switching to the school bus for immediate use in Iraq ![]() |

It's worth noting that under the skin, civilian hummers from the H2 onwards bear almost nothing in common with the military HMMWV. The only model actually based on the military version was the H1, and it's no longer in production.

That looked pretty fatal for the Hummer driver and at least his front seat passenger.

AM general converted their plants that were building the Hummer so that they could build more HUMVEEs for the troops.
