I used to do it this way also but found once I started playing DiD, I had a temptation to try a different option by loading an earlier save. To help with the discipline of DiD, I find I only need the one save now. I could go all the way to a no save situation but I'm not the only user of the computer and can't just keep it paused. Plus I do occasionally use it for things other than SHIII (Sacrilege I know!)

Me? Not at all. I was just setting up a funny scenario, which is why I put it all in quotes.

On the other hand, I recently saved my career by apologizing to the admiral and returning the stolen cognac.

If i save with the same name overwriting it all the time then WHAMO all my saves will dissapear , i guarantee it . I always save with grid coordinates AM01 or AM01a etc
