being in Norway I really don't know but here in the UK I get all my hardware from 3 sites

http://www.dabs.com/

http://www.planetmicro.co.uk/

http://www.quietpc.com/gb-en-gbp/products

Kaleun_Saxi - thanks for the prompt - I really wanted to get the tongue in cheek Englishism for German words like "Achtung Spitfeur !"

I see. Achtung Spitfeuer would be more accurate, but we are tongue-in-cheek.
I'm thinking about other typical English words that we Germans misuse. Like saying "handy" to a mobile phone. For me this is a quite interesting subject, I like reading which German words are actually used in other languages. Time for Blitzkrieg. Kindergarten. Bratwurst. Brathering....

Default I upgrade my mem from...

I upgraded my mems from 256MB to 512MB, i can put 2GB max, but dont ask the price...

I have a P4 with Rambus memories...
Now i have 2x265 with NON ECC and 2x ECC..
Some mainboards like what i have can combine 2 difference rams.. as long you put the same rams together....

but putting 2x1GB uhmmm lot's of $$$$ and for that money i can buy a new system...
So i wait when Vista comes out.. than i build a custom computer...

Is the prices that high again!? They keep changing all the time! Last time I bought 1GB of ram it was ~70€. A year ago or so.
