Yeah, the original release of the game had that problem, but a subsequent patch put a noise penalty on speed.
Right now its a linear sound vs speed model with cavitation adding an additional 20points of noise iirc. Personally I'm hoping for a next step in the noise model to allow a more stepwise sound verses speed model for added realism. ![]()
