20 years on SH3 still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up when
doing a hydraphone sweep and you pick up high pitch screws of the lead escort then another then the dull thud thud of the merchants.
I think SH3 is like a very fine wine it gets better with age and also we are all
WWII Uboat/Submarine NutJobs in my case being born 3rd September 1965
I was born A NutJob

Happy Birthday SH3

Yes, and like Red Orchestra, thanks to the "Darkest Hour" supermod... This game was released in 2006, exactly one year later than SH3.

I doubt there are many sims/games that have endured as long (without major version updates). The mod community has been fantastic!

yeah, modding community helps a lot + game replayability.
Also SH3 is interesting for people interested in military, WW2 and submarines.

Default Silent Hunter III Happy birthday 😎

I regret that UBISOFT doesn't ask questions, what a shame...
Especially since it was struggling recently, now's the time to turn things around, what do you think, guys ?

Honestly this photo has nothing to do with the subject postcount=9 it's ridiculous it should be deleted...
This is the Kriegsmarine...lol, at no point is there any mention of the Anvart plateau...it's complete nonsense...
Stop patriotic...
Long live freedom of expression...

First it would be nice if Ubisoft would stop pushing woke agenda into their games and start to focus on improving of their quality.

Ubisoft are too far gone now, not just ideolgocally as you point out, but financially I wouldnt hold much hope for their recovery.
