This piece voices doubt on the reliability of that claim. Ignore the source that you will not like, focus on what it says. And especially take note that it is Hamed Abdel-Samad (whom I have often mentioned in recent years and whom I once met personally in a brief public meeting) also voicing doubts on the man's identity.

However, things sounded different for a German of Arab descent who has been widely known for many years as a profound critic of Islam and who can only move around in this country under police protection because of his criticism of Islam. Hamed Abdel-Samad, who is also an Achgut author, was in contact with Abdulmohsen and wrote on Facebook on Saturday :

" After the name of the Magdeburg attacker was revealed today, I found several old messages from him in my X-mailbox. In them, he asked me to stop supporting secular refugee aid and wanted to speak to me personally.
In his last message on November 21, he again asked me to distance myself from the secular refugee aid organization because he would soon do something that would make this organization the number one topic of conversation in the world. All screenshots of his messages are now in the hands of the police.

In my estimation, this man is either a deranged person or a mole. ”


Saudi agent?

It is conceivable that he could be a confused person. But a mole? Ali Utlu – himself an ex-Muslim, atheist, Achgut guest author and active critic of Islam from Cologne – also has his experiences with Abdulmohsen, which he briefly summarizes on X as follows :

"If the perpetrator is Taleb Al Abdulmohsen, then I blocked him months ago because I, like other critics of Islam, thought he was a Saudi agent who spied on renegade Saudis and ex-Muslims in Germany for the Saudi state. I'm shocked right now."

Shortly afterwards he confirms again:

"I didn't believe and still don't believe that he's an apostate. Everything he did was rather confused. He even attacked me until I blocked him because I didn't believe a word he said. I need to let it all sink in."

The assumption that Abdulmohsen could be a mole is also consistent with his verbal attack on the organization "Secular Refugee Aid," which was co-founded by Islam critic and Achgut guest author Mina Ahadi. In an English-language video distributed on X , he declares the renowned Secular Refugee Aid to be the "most corrupt refugee organization in the world" and says of Ahadi:

"She is the main founder of this organization. There was no need to create this organization. Because she is also the founder of the Central Council of Ex-Muslims in the same city. She did not need to create another organization. Unless we remember that these people themselves said that this organization deals mainly with female refugees from Saudi Arabia. So a special organization was created to (recruit) mainly female Saudi refugees to abuse them (...) So (Mina Ahadi) most likely created both organizations to destroy ex-Muslim activism."

It is known and I know from first hand witness account that such operatins are being run by Saudi secret police for sure. Comparable to operations by the Turks and Iranians.


On a sidenote, super-lefty socialist inteiror minister Faeser did not let the opportunity pass unused to be on the scene of the crime yesterday and then firing a barrage of propagandistic battlephrases that immediately make clear to evervbody how to correctly think about this unwelcomed, unpleasant event, calling the deed that of an Islamophobe, oh yes, this is one of the lefty migrant-importers most beloved phrases to demonize everbyody who does not agree with their full subjugation to Islam: you are an Islamophobe, obviously. Next Grandpa Steinmeier also soaped up the German public with his senile theatralic drivel, and then the brash uncle Olaf stepped up and shaved the Germans off with a clear edge. It was a good day until then, but then and after the Faeser reframing stunt I suffered another one of these unspeakable vomiting attacks thta nowadays haunt me so often.

I take this all personal, kind of, because many years ago I was engaged myself in assisting several Muslim apostates to get out and get their mental acts together when needing to get things sorted for themselves regarding that they woud need to separate from their families, parents. I know very well the personal conflicts and the pain real apostates must go through. I have seen some of these at arms length, over weeks and months. If what AdG writes turns out to be true, it would piss me big time.

Hunting down apostates and shutting doors for them to escape, and luring them into their doom. Apostacy is under death penalty in Islam.

This was a real danger already 20+ years ago.
