He's just trolling, he doesn't care to discuss policy. Cause he knows the left doesn't have good policy.

There’s not much point in defending the policies of the Biden Harris administration to those who will never accept how much more successful the current administration has been over the four years of garbage policy from Trump’s failed administration that was run by people who are, or soon will be, felons. There’s a reason many of Trump’s former appointees speak badly of him.

Furthermore, it’s no more my job to defend those policies, than it for those on the right to defend theirs when those policies are questioned in an open politics thread.

I’ve been posting about what I believe are the failures of the once GOP, currently infected by a Trump cult, that can only find its course again when he’s gone and the poisonous hate filled rhetoric and fear mongering gives way to showing how the common citizens, not the wealthiest oligarchs, lives will be better if elected.

My comment wasn't directed towards Buddahaid. My question was directed to you Americans in general.

We're waiting...

There has been ample evidence that Walz had been contemplating his retirement from the military at least a couple of years before turning in his papers and that has been affirmed by others who served in the Guard with him; also, Walz could have mustered out after he did his twenty years, but he chose to reup for another four years when 9/11 happened; somehow, it doesn't sound or seem like the actions of a soldier seeking to avoid combat...

As far as he might have know about the deployment before hand, I again challenge you to provide factual, verifiable evidence to back up such an assertion; anyone who has ever served in the National Guard during wartime knows that rumors of deployment abound in the ranks and a great many of those are just that, rumors...

If JD Vance and his ilk find the only way to aggrandize being a 4 year correspondent (which usually is a staff position, or as they used to say in Vietnam, a REMF) against a soldier who willingly gave up 24 years of his life in service to his country and served honorably, than I'd say that speaks to the fragility of Vance's ego and his tenuous grasp on a semblance of extensive military experience...

Another question to be considered: when Walz retired he was 41 years old; I don't think the US Army would think it would be a good idea to send a middle aged man into combat (and also consider he had already been treated for hearing loss due to his duty in the artillery); Walz would have most likely been posted somewhere away from combat and might not even have been sent with the rest of his unit; it makes more sense to make way for a younger, able-bodied, soldier than to task a guy on the downward side of life's bell curve to do combat duty...

Like I have said in other instances, use common sense and logic; it tends to work better than vile bellicose...

<O>
Bite on what? Read my posts again.

I stated several pages back I was aware that after twenty 24 years Walz retired to pursue politics. As a veteran myself I really don’t give a rats ass about him either way.

You post a headline ‘…Veterans Slam Trump’ and I’m sure some do. What I am telling you is not all veterans do. I know many who did deploy and one of them that lost a limb who come hell or high water see Walz as skipping out. Take it up with them.

Like I have said in other instances, use common sense and logic; it tends to work better than chit posting and click bait headlines

Sure, their policies(some) are ok. However, IRA is garbage. The border is a mess. Economy in the tank. This is what voters care about. The infection for the Biden administration is not a policy. It is be woke. Harris et al.

I'd like to think he'd be followed by the folk currently residing in Westminster

Quote:
Donald Trump says he’ll flee to Venezuela if he loses the election

Donald Trump hinted that he might flee to Venezuela if he loses the election this November.

The former president made the comment as part of a fear-mongering prediction during his X interview with Elon Musk on Monday.

“If something happens with this election, which would be a horror show, we’ll meet the next time in Venezuela,” Trump said.

He elaborated, explaining that Venezuela — a dictatorship where nearly two dozen people have been killed in crackdowns on political protests — would be far safer than the US if Vice President Kamala Harris wins in 2024.

“We’ll have a meeting and dinner in Venezuela,” Trump said, “Because that’s what’s happening—their crime rate’s coming down and our crime rate’s going through the roof.”

Today the failed policies of the Biden administration have the consumer price index falling to 2.9 %. This should trigger interest rates getting lowered.

USA Today I use in my cockatiel cage. This "should" trigger lower interest rates. Manipulative headline. It should also save the worlds economy. It should. It should. No sir. It "will" is what people want te read.

Sometimes I wonder if there are people who truly believe that the POTUS has a control room in the white house, with monitors and a massive control desk with buttons and levers, where he sits and controls the world economy.

Want to find those who run the world's economy? Try the board rooms in the US, in China, in France, in Germany, in Russia, in Azerbaijan, anywhere. Try the military headquarters allover the world where wars are planned. Try the sharks at Wall Street or any other stock exchange. Try natural disasters affecting production. Try the US Congress. Any president is just a pawn in a very big game.

Fine, let's go to the source.

Even if it did it still doesn't eliminate the huge surge in prices that we have already been hit with. It would just slow the rate of further increases. Whoop-de-do. From what I see the price of groceries has gone up about 40%. Saying that future increases might not be as drastic is scant comfort.
