i cannot speak for comparisons with SH3-GWX but if you want to play a meaningful Atlantic theatre in SH4, DW is the mod to do it.

one must keep in mind that Ubi never intended SH4 to be used for an Atlantic theatre. there are many hurdles for modding SH4 into the Atlantic and using the German Navy organization as opposed to the US organization, which is what SH4 was designed for.
i think it is pretty good for what it is.

if you decide to give it a try, please read the documentation on the download page.
