Quite a remarkable man may he rest in peace. I remember seeing him hanging out with Bob Hoover at the Reno air races by a motorhome, or trailer. That was in the early eighties and and I'd snuck onto the tarmac with a friend after dark to snoop around. We were staying at the air field in a motorhome and just walked in. We didn't have the courage to try and talk to him.
