Thats the big thing..there is little difference between them.They both attempt to do the same thing,just in some cases do it in a different way but accomplish the same goal.

So the answer is you yourself have to make the choice of which you like..no one can do that for you.Just try them both out and decide afterwards.It all comes down to personal preferences in playing so no one can say that either one or the other is more realistic/historical..that is up to you the player.
