And Denmark is significant how in the larger scope of NATO?

Don't make me laugh. The times of the Norsemen and Danelaw are long gone.

Denmark has several key skills it brings to the NATO table just like the Dutch do, in reality Denmarks inteligence arm is one of the best in Europe, although not part of the 5 I group it does work very closely with the NSA and other intel agencies.
