Try doing this:
https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/sho...&postcount=452 This removes Uplay from SH5 and you should be able to play your game. DO NOT click the "Play" on Uplay. Launch DIRECTLY from the sh5.exe by going to C:/Uplay/games/Silent Hunter 5 and clicking on the .exe
