An 82-year-old Air Force veteran in Massachusetts was attacked for supporting President Trump, according to police.
Charlie Chase said a man came up to him screaming, while Chase was holding a pro-Trump sign and wearing a Trump hat near his house in Fall River on Tuesday.
"Came running over to me, and he said, ‘Gimme the sign.’ He tried to take the sign from me, I didn't want to give it to him, so I was holding onto it. So, he pulled it hard enough that he tore it in half,” said Chase. "The guy, when he came at me, I had never seen a horror story that the face was so filled with hate and anger as his was. I was just frozen.”
The man allegedly also picked Chase up during the altercation and then kicked him in the ribs when he was on the ground.

The victim told the police that he believed that he was attacked because of his political beliefs and the “Trump” hat that he was wearing.
The victim, who had visible bruising on his lower back, was taken to Charlton Memorial Hospital for evaluation, according to the police.
The police contacted Courtright, who later turned himself in.

He was charged with civil-rights violation with injury, assault and battery on person over 60, vandalism of personal property, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Courtright was arraigned Wednesday in District Court, where not guilty please were on his behalf, according to the Herald News in Fall River. He was ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing.

Whatever a voter have to say about an elected politician it is ok(As long it doesn't brake any laws).

But it's not ok to verbally or physical attack a supporter with awful words or physical violence.

As mentioned in our US-politic thread.

When reading this and other stories where Trump supporters are being attacked verbally and now physically

I truly hope Trump will win the 2020 election.
