Default Still blind after all these years

Spoke too soon. Fix didn't fix.

For those that use GWX, this is how bad/strange it can be. If you are familiar with Lorient Harbor, and what U-boat Kaleun isn't, when you set sail for a patrol you leave the slip and go up and hang a right at the U-Boat Pens. Usually there is a French Small Merchant anchored there. In Map mode, at night, you can get to within 300 meters from where the Merchant is usually anchored and not see it. If you go to the Bridge and scan to the right you can see it sitting there. Go back to map mode and it isn't there.
Go back to the Bridge and there it is, go to UZO mode find it and lock on the Merchant and finally when you go back to map mode there it is.

That can get you killed in the Atlantic vicinity.

Try this one, activate it as a separate mod in JSGME and make sure it is the last one (bottom of the list in JSGME).

Best regards,

Default Update - SD3 seems to have worked

I tackled SD3 again, figured it out, and changed the sensor data. It appears that everything is now working fine.
I followed the directions below and now I can see!

Hi,with S3d open in Uboat compilation\data\Library\Sensors.dat\node-Visual \Sensors.data,and set-PreciseRange=12 500 ,MaxRange=16 000
First disable mod with Jsgme
I think it will work out"

Thanks everyone, particularly Ivanov Rus and Anvar for your help.

Does the fix xxxp posted works?

I ask because it is a more simple solution for a layman as me. I do not know what is s3d or how to open and edit a dat filhe from SH3.
