crash!
game crash every time try to lunch mission. i did run compatibility mode seem no help. any suggestion?

can we still play ksdII?
do I need to be russian to play this game? i spent like one hour to download ksdII then an error message popped saying i cant open this

Getting it to run
April 2019
I could not run it with a fresh SH4 Gold version, so I copied over an older SH4.EXE from my 2012 Fall of the Rising Sun install. That mod put a copy of the exe file into the MODS folder -- which I copied. The file SHFall uses is probably not good. Once that 2012 exe file was used, no trouble loading and running KSDII. Except for the Russian radio messages, which I hope will be fixed when I install the full English translation mod, just downloaded. Hope the info helps.

This mod got a lot better with English messages. IMO destroyers visual spotting range in night should be decreased

I just tried KSD for very first time, with English traduction...
I’m very impressed by what i saw  It’s like a brand new sim! I particularly love the nav map  but the sub dynamics let me doubting ... it rolls a bit too much to my taste  Anyway, the work that has been done here is quite fantastic  For me, it’s only SP campaign playing. No multiplayer.
