Hi all,
I would be very grateful if you help me solve a problem. I have installed MFM lite mod and new merchant ships work fine with GWX Gold - but the problem is that whenever I get close to these "new" merchants to have a listen with hydorophones I get sinking sounds instead of common propeller sounds with the stock GWX merchants, when the new merchant is not torpedoed. I have tried opening the .sim file in the data/sea folder since I presume the sound files for a particular ship type are written here but I cannot open it properly with the notepad. Any helping advice is wholehartedly welcome! |

With the Skwas editor.. it's in the \data\Sound\SH3.sdl file .. somewhere,
Cannot remember where.. but play around. *** back up this file first *** |

Not yet - I had RL things to attend to - so now those successfully dealt with I will try to tackle this problem. I have noticed that in SH III museum the sounds are normal - Liberty cargo propeller - according to S3H. It is in the campaign, that the problem lays.

I'm about 5 years late to the party!
![]() Have you guys ever found a fix to the problem? M38B is one of the ships that has the issue. I looked up SH3.sdl and M38B.dsd in data/sea, it uses Liberty sound files and I don't find anything missing. I have no clue what's wrong... |

Unfortunately, this mod somehow messes up the 'Submarine_diesel_exterior' sound file in data/sound. The diesel engine becomes so loud that It's gonna blow my eardrum(Only when surfaced). Therefore, I can't really test it out. ![]() |

Aces' mod needs to be near the bottom of your list of installed mods. It should be installed on top of all other mods which contain the same file. Check you've done that first. If you have, and you still get the issues you describe, then tbh I don't know what to suggest o7
