You record bearings at *equal* time intervals (b1 @ t1, b2 @ t2, b3 @ t3). You then subtract (b2 - b1) and (b3 - b1) and line up the two results on the disc. Where the two points line up, will identify the target's AOB at b1. Note that you need to be completely stopped for this to work. If you are moving, the result is angle on relative motion rather than AOB. |
