Yep, tried already everything. No result.

There is something that makes my Nvidia panel and inspector not working at all for SH3... it becomes to drive me crazy

WAC5 was plenty of CTD’s on my old rig, but i had nice AA. Now i have brand new rig, WAC5 is running without any CTD but no AA at all...

This new PC has an hybrid hard drive (mechanic 1 Tera and SSD 256 Gb) and WAC 5 is installed on the C drive SSD.

In fact none of my applications are affected by control panel or inspector.
At first i though SH5 was ok, but i can’t change any AA via inspector too.

SH3 image is catastrophic while SH5 is pretty ok.

Installed latest drivers via GE force but no results.

i5-8600k 5.1 GHz
16 GB DDR4 2666 MHz
NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB
SSD
Windows 10 Pro

I have beautiful graphics in SH5 and no lag , in SH3 i just cant get any AA to work with it , i tried Inspector , Nvidia control panel .. , Override , Enhance nothing... nothing works it just horrible all the jaggies burns my eyes!

So i understand you can’t have any SH3 AA too, but have you tried to boost the antialiasing with SH5, just to see if it’s exact same problem?

On side note, running SH5 at 2560X1440 kind of solved the antialiasing here. It’s almost perfect.
But SH3...

I’ve searched internet about the Nvidia control panel not working, but didn’t find any probant solution.

ÉDIT: only single thing is working with control panel: FXAA on, it’s a little better. But that’s all.

Hi Fifi , i think i found how to fix horrible AA in SH3/SH4/SH5 , Use Nvidia Inspector to set Antialiasing Compatibility to 0x004412C1 , dont ask how it just works !

And a question maybe u know how to stop escorts from randomly sinking in rough seas in WAC 5.01 ?

I tried your AA compatibility, and have to say it’s a little better too.

But it doesn’t explain why all the control panel AA isn’t working

For the WAC ship sinking in bad sea, i’ve Never seen it.
And yes you can use Commander with WAC, but there is an add on you must install in its folder.

So actually, it seems it’s working again

Don’t Know exactly what i did (did so much...) but my SH3 is now perfect!

The tip that CaptJulius gave me (diabloIII compatibility) might help a lot though...

By the way is it know problem with SH3 Commander that i cant select flotilla i want , as example i cant select 3rd Flotilla in 1941 or 1942 , there just isnt an option to select it.

Yes! It makes it easy to add multiple installs to a profile that works.
I currently have SH4 WOP, FOTRSUv80, SH4TMO/RSRD, and a few others all activated into the same profile.
