So if I’m reading this right maybe August for an open beta and it could be in beta through the rest of the year. Am I understanding this correctly?

That's correct, we will keep this game in beta stage until beta testers will be satisfied with our game. As long as I suspect it's going to be disappointing for some, there is no other way.

Proper beta testing is something I always wanted as a developer and I'm happy that it's finally happening. All Silent Hunters were released with major bugs and UBOAT has even larger surface for that considering that crew is dynamic and more interactions are happening in the world on the map.

Yes, we are going to publish a short form to fill a month after Kickstarters. It's going to be more manageable this way.

I want to jump in this! It’s January and they sent out the beta... release the game already!!!! Do what other companies do, release it and send out updates!!!!! Come on already!
