And those torpedoes that are delivered by cruise missiles. I know I shouldn't use them, but the temptation is too great sometimes, just turning them off somehow would help me.

There is one solution.
Take hammer and give it to your wife, now all she has to do is hit your finger if you try to use F3 or F4 keys. Soon you remember not to touch those keys. ![]() |

I've done this, but it's only a partial solution.
When you click on contacts on the tactical map, if you exit it without pressing F1 (your sub view), you end up with an external view of the selected contact.

Yes, but you can't select torpedoes that are not detected or aircraft, and that was OP's problem.

In flight sims, these camera views are pretty standard, We put them in there because we felt it's better to see more of the action rather than less of it.
