I don't know what Instagram is either, but I think Snapchat is that thing that Reece uses to send intimate photographs of himself to his wife's friends; they then burst into flames moments after viewing or something like that (prolly like in "Mission Impossible")

Snapchat was one of those social media things that was poorly done the first time it was introduced. Due to the nature of the 'self-destructing' images (the images, I believe, were still saved on your phone), it was extremely criticised as a great many teens, especially in the US, used the service for sexting images of themselves. They finally changed the protocol for the app to prevent it, and that's the last I heard.

No worries, Sophia...I'm 17 and barely have a clue about most of the social media out there...I just use Facebook and Google+.

But why? Haha. Speaking of all this..i coincidentally just stumbled upon a blog post that sought of tries to explain the difference between Instagram and Snapchat. Turns out, the two have been around for quite a while. I mean 2010 and 2011 are like what? 6 and 7 years ago? Time to roll with the trend and be cool, i will be having accounts on both very soon!
