I have not considered the UBM aspect in my ModSoup aka ModPack.
I should probably catch up on this occasion...

As RR already says in his usual humorous way, one can never actually create "realism" in a game (thank God).

You can only create a sense of realism, measured by the game engine and a balanced game play.

If you want to play the German side the best thing to do would be to have a second installation of the game, and use the Operation Monsun series of mods, which were created just for that purpose. The mods you're using now are specifically designed for the Pacific War, and you can only play U-boats in the Pacific. OM lets you play the full Atlantic War.
