Fleet submarine to U-boat
I like the mods I have and don'want to change that ,but if I want to play the German side is all historically correct?:hmmm:
I know about the OM mods but I want to ask. mods are: 1_TriggerMaru_Overhaul_2-5 Real Environment RSRDC_TMO by Kriller + Caustic RSRDC_TMO_V502 RSRDC_V5xx_Patch1 1.5_Optical Targeting Correction 031312 for RSRDCv502 Ralles ModPack for TMO_RSRDC_OTC SH5 water for SH4 Henny |
Of course it is not all historically correct! Nothing in any mod or in stock is entirely historically correct, and what exactly is "historically correct" anyway? Even historically correct is not historically correct. Because history is made in real time, with no blueprint and of a million people's concurrently interacting free will. History can never be recreated. Even with a time machine rolling back time so real events restarted from a given known point, the future of the past would roll out differently.
So no. Nothing is "historically correct." We can't agree on what that means or even if it has any meaning whatever. If you want to be literal and say, is everything as it was on the date I select, I say no, because you weren't there. It was all perfectly correct until you ruined it!:D |
I have not considered the UBM aspect in my ModSoup aka ModPack.
I should probably catch up on this occasion... :hmmm: As RR already says in his usual humorous way, one can never actually create "realism" in a game (thank God). :yep: You can only create a sense of realism, measured by the game engine and a balanced game play. :salute: |
If you want to play the German side the best thing to do would be to have a second installation of the game, and use the Operation Monsun series of mods, which were created just for that purpose. The mods you're using now are specifically designed for the Pacific War, and you can only play U-boats in the Pacific. OM lets you play the full Atlantic War.
