In reality (Richelieu=248 meters --- Dunkerque=214 meters) :

So, it appears that the Dunkerque is not modeled at the proper scale ! I've found more than 260 meters in length ! I have resized it to have 214 meters, but now, this is what we get :

All the sub-objects must be resized (around 80 % !) and replaced !

What a nightmare !

I propose to remain BB Dunkerque as she is. She is very beautiful. It is one of the best models of Gerome 73 ever made as for me. But it is my opinion only.

Hello,

at the time when Gerome73 made the NBB Strasbourg, the biggest problem with creating new ships was to do the damage files (no easy-to-work-with-S3Ditor). Therefore, damage files of existing models where adopted, which means the models where scaled to that size. The Strasboug uses the damage file of the NBB Bismarck, thus, the model is of the size of the Bismarck.
Another exanple is NCA Zara, whichis scaled up to the size of NCA Hipper. In case of the County classes, the damage files of NBB Revenge was used, which explains problems with sinking those cruisers.

Probably, some peoples noticed when I presented pictures of NDD Malin, NBB Strasbourg was about the right size. That's because I re-scaled the model (also I re-equipped her).

Here's that re-scaled model, with all items required. Note, the files are only tested for my own private SH3 setup, which differes much from most big mods. The model, therefore, may not work perfectly in other mod soups. So, use at own risk:

kendras, not so long ago I posted the link to the 3D models of all vessels in SH5. Download the Liberty cargo model and start placing it into the SH3 files. All 3D adjustment can be done with Wings3D (however, Blender and Meshlab are useful, too), Photoshop/Gimp, and the S3Ditor. No hex-editing required
