50 Years of Doctor Who

Couple episodes into the next, and that's when I realized the new format, which I love.

But I think "brilliant" is a stretch. They felt like cliche sci-fi episodes, or maybe it was because the show had no direction yet, we had characters, and a background, but no direction to a storyline.

This morning over breakfast I re-watched the Season 2 episode 'Adam'. I thought it was positively terrifying what a person with that kind of ability could do. Extremely well played. And I felt a lot of character development only a couple of episodes ago when Rhys found out the truth.

Watched the new Christmas special 'The Return of Doctor Mysterio' last night. A nice bit of lighthearted fun, with a superhero and a female reporter with the initials 'LL'.
