U show up at an on-base domestic disturbance: HE: fingernail gouge wounds from the eye sockets to the collar bones...SHE: at least one black eye, possibly bleeding lips, loose teeth; both under age 25- subsidized housing, always four upset kids, all under age six watching...Injuries not fatal?: mutual combat declared; screeching notwithstanding-two sides to every conflict; B impartial: 'do not distress the kids further with handcuffs to either parent'....Either one with the wallet holding the family's only $300- limit credit-card goes to the local Motel 6 NOW! (breathing space and cool-down for all combatants) or it's Captain's Mast and loss of job-dishonorable discharge, home and income in the AM if I file a formal report...(firsttime offenders only) In the San Francisco/Oakland 'hood' subsidized housing, where I tended not to blend in, it was considerably worse. And I hate Rat Tail Combs at close quarters and no options: they ain't got no credit card!
