Lost renown due to glitch, can I get it back with CFG edits?

I am running the open horizons 2.5 mod, which replaces the basic torpedoes with many kinds, and each cost renown. I began dragging the torpedoes onto my sub in the upgrade screen, like normal, when I noticed the renown going down. I decide to put them back, then go for the cheaper ones. But my renown stayed the same when I put the torpedoes back. Is there a file I can edit to put my renown back up?

Yes, open with notepad your CareerTrack.upc from your last gamesave and you'll find renown settings there...

Hi Will

If you had used ESC key to go back to the main menu and then loaded the Autsave In Base save again would that not let you start again back in the bunker with full renown restored to make your torpedo choice again?

There is a problem with that. I go to the file, and there is nothing from my current save. In fact, it has my flotilla as Perl Harbor, and my sub as the Porpoise. Why am I getting SH4 data in the careertrack file?
