Yesterday was the hottest day in Cape Town's recorded history placing it also as the hottest city on the planet for that day at 42 degrees celsius.
Fires still alive but thank goodness this on the wires today: CAPE TOWN – Some relief is expected for firefighters battling a four-day blaze around Table Mountain in Cape Town, with rain and cool weather forecast throughout the day. Sad.
