Thanks for the info!
I'm not sure how to use nodes yet or how they work. I'd had a naval base NavalBase01 already there that had working refit if you got close to it, however invisible.
So after seeing your post I, in my total lack of understanding nodes, placed a path node Node1 near the base and put a generator node named NavalBase01 next to it, and linked them.
Then I clicked edit on the generator node and it brought up the "NodeForm", but it wouldn't let me edit any of the fields, except for the start and end date filters, so I'm not sure how to link it to the naval base. When I try to validate, it says this:

WARNING: Node NavalBase01 does not have a related naval base.
WARNING: Node NavalBase01 does not have any related map locations.

Edit: I discovered an old but good link on this site, that I can't believe I overlooked before, that has a lot of useful info about the nodes, so I'm going to be experimenting with this some more and hopefully get it all figured out thoroughly enough, when I have a chance, tonight or tomorrow. I'll get back to you folks as to my success!
