I would recommend the following mods:
RFB_2.0
RFB_2.0_Patch_23April2010
RSRDC_RFB_V575
RSRDC_RFBV5xx_Patch1
Improved Ship Physics 1.1

The last one is mine, and was just finished a couple days ago. It makes your RFB boats more realistic in terms of acceleration, turning, diving, sea-keeping, and battery capacity.
