Hello blackswan40,

it is the well known "ConfigDate-Bug".
You will have to correct these dates by hand with an text editor!
But be careful: once you grab this unit again the date is set back to 1939 or else.

I sure hope that this delay is not because of a useless junk pile called Windows 8.

Can anyone verify how accurate the fire burning damage models will be in V6 ?

Although most of our testers have W7-PCs, W8/8.1 has to be kept in mind because nearly every new PC will have this OS.

True but quite a many switch it to older Windows very quickly. I know that many mod makers that make great mods don't even consider adding Win 8 support because of it's flaws.

It was about the fire damage model of ships that have caught fire. How accurate will the burning damage be in 6 and will the burning lead to either spreading and destruction of the ship or to extinquishion of fire by the ship's crew ?

I Do not know if we will be able to test LSH3_v6 on all our PCs with Win 8.1 but we will do even after Release.

Well,
if you think about TDW's "Ship_Plane_Fire_Damage" it is not included in LSH3_v6, because we think, that a ships crew did not want to take a bath and therefore does it's best to clear the fire(s).

I don't know anything about TDW's mentioned work, i'm just thinking about as realistic fire model as possible.

So there will be extinguishing attempts by crew i reckon. And if they fail ? Will the fire spread and blow up the ship ?
