According to the weather app on my phone which i never really completely trust, in my neck of the woods it is currently 10F, with an expected high of 25. The other day it was supposedly 1F. I didn't even realize it until my own mother sends me a text, "Is it really 1 degree there?". "No mom, it feels more like 12 or so." LOL

I use WeatherBug, which gives a feed from downtown. I suppose I should get an outdoor thermometer for my deck one of these days.

In days gone by, I would wear long johns, but I find them too restrictive and a PITA to put on and take off. IF I was spending a long time out in the cold, then I would consider wearing them again.
When working as a cop, myself and a few others would wear a pair of tights, they are much less restrictive than long johns but prone to tears and rips when going to answer a call of nature.

A pair lasted one shift so you tended to purchase the cheapest you could find but obviously had the wife or a female friend go to the shop for you

Not that I have anything against any of that.
I heard,... heard mind you, the same thing.

But I have seen Jim's legs!

The pictures he's posted of me 'out' on the floor in Houston?
That was a shock reaction that knocked me unconscious!

The wife says "He'd never fit in mine, I bet his backside would split them"

Yesterday 77 and shorts, tonight icing and 32..

Remember when we use to pack up summer clothes for the winter.

Currently 25F/-2C, which is already higher than the forecast for the day. Overcast with a very gentle snow falling.
