I'm glad to hear that. Wes is great player and while most NE fans wish he was still playing for us we still wish him well and are glad he went to a good team.

Well the Lions destroyed the Packers. Oakland is actually giving Dallas some trouble and my Steelers are going to take on the Ravens at 8:30. I love Thanksgiving football.

I must have looked away when this happen, but when I turned back around coach Tomlin was smiling a wicked smile and now I see why he was actually standing on the field while the play was in progress and slowly moved out of the way at the last moment making the runner flinch and move over a bit and when the play was over he smiled that wicked smile.

The smile says it all to me

NFL reviews Mike Tomlin move

In addition, the official running along with the play -- who allowed Tomlin to come between him and the Baltimore Ravens' Jacoby Jones-- could be downgraded, according to the source.

Our boys started out slow again this week but they made up for it in the end.

Texan are claiming some filming is going on again. Seems to me the Texans are just not having a good season.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin's near-interference with Ravens kick returner Jacoby Jones on Thursday night is the subject of “an aggressive review,” according to a league source and is likely to result in stiff financial penalties for the coach and the team, and perhaps the forfeiture of a draft pick.
Losing first round pick will hurt more than the fine ever will. You be the judge.

As a Ravens fan, I think the loss of a draft pick is too harsh. Instead, a significant fine AND forcing him to step down from his recently appointed presence on the NFL's powerful Competition Committee would be just punishment. The humiliation of stepping down may wipe that smirk off Tomlin's face seen after his "maneuver".

The loss of a draft choice would set a dangerous precedent.

It would be huge! If losing the 1st round draft is in addition to the fine I see Tomlin taking his last bow as Steelers coach. It is harsh losing the 1st round pick and the NFL might be looking to make an example. They should make an example of the refs that officiated the game. Why it was not reviewed and ruled after the play I'll never understand. Heck, they could have given a 15 yard penalty or just awarded the TD. That would have been the end of it.

I am compassionate.

1. I know what it is like to dwell in the cellar, it hurt worse for me because my team went from dynasty to league joke. It just becomes too much sometimes. I feel the pain, and have a love for the under dog.

2. Poor Adrian Petersen. He cannot do it alone, give him a damn O-line! It might help poor Chris Ponder to avoid eating dirt 3 plays out of 4.

3. The owners of this team are happy with mediocre. Once again a problem I have experience with. Sure the franchise is profiting, but the fans are suffering, spend some money, use your draft picks and trade, take chances!

Vikes problem is clearly coaching, and especially ownership. (IMHO)

(edit : Detroit Lions syndrome, a disease I named. Back in the day they (detroit) had Barry Sanders, the best running back in history, he woulda broke the record but he quit a half a year from doing so, the Lions sucked when they had him, but always hinged their hopes on him. Petersen should leave them, as they seem to have no wish to build around him and improve, only use the name to sell seats and Jerseys, and piss off the fans with 5-8 win seasons,)

NE has sure been living on the edge but they've been getting it done.

I predict a Denver vs NE playoff game in the near future, and I sure hope this time NE will be the one on the road.

You are absolutely correct! Lately, I've wondered about the refs. Their fiasco with moving the chains in Washington's last drive was inexcusable. They should have stopped the game and sorted it out then too.
