Why can't you lot just do what Australia did with all our illegal immigrants before the conservatives came to power? It had it's problems, definitely, but for the most part it worked. Retool it a bit, and it would probably work for America.

And Bubblehead, for someone who says that they're not crazy, why was your final solution to the immigrant problem killing them all? Seems a bit bloodthirsty...

Cybermat, in fairness he is not the first to propose it on this forum.
But just on a practical level leaving aside the very serious legal implications, it would involve clearing about 12,000 square miles and forcibly evicting a couple of million US citizens.

Okay, I did not say kill them all, I said deport them but if they are stupid enough to rush the border, cross illegally, the should be fired upon, end of story.

A few well publicized drone strikes at the next bunch hopping the border would go a long way toward curtailing the practice.

So free fire zones with helicopter gunships to kill illegal immigrants (plus anyone else in the area)if they are in the zone, but don't kill overstays.

So what about some of the other aspects.
Forced evictions of very large numbers of US citizens and government seizure of land from US citizens?
Surely that is counter to the ideology you claim to follow.
Would that be tyranny you be wanting? Trading liberty for an illusion of security from the "savages"

I said nothing about US citizens, stop trying to muddy the waters of the discussion,this is about ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.Yes, detain and deport anyone here illegally.Those who dare to rush the border as in San Diego recently, fire upon them, would send a message.I am parroting nothing.

Deporting illegals and making a border they can't cross is not trading liberty for anything, it's getting rid of illegal trash that have no right to be in my country, causing many problems.
