Didn't get to see the episode itself, but I did manage to watch An Adventure In Space And Time. Beautiful show. Made me laugh. Made me cry.

Did anyone else see the 50th Anniversary Special at the movies?

Because I saw it at the movies.

In 3D.

The 3D was pretty useless, but it was still awesome seeing the **** *** on the big screen!

I was not tempted to spend money to see what I'll see for free soon enough. Spoilers? They don't bother me a bit. By the third time I've seen it I'll know what's coming anyway. I still watch every episode from every season at least once every two years, and have done so (at least the ones I had at the time) since 1984.

I just saw The Day of The Doctor, and I must admit it was brilliant! Pretty much everything a fan could ask for. My only complaint is that like everybody else I had always thought that Paul McGann turned directly into Christopher Ecclestone, and I would love to have seen McGann in the special, even though I love John Hurt. Still, they gave us The Night of The Doctor, so we got to see #8 one more time.

Good story, good filming, good acting, good effects and a couple of great easter eggs. I'm satisfied.
