I got the samples then it tells me to head to a liberty port in Taihiti.
I will try it again and see. Havent played DW in many years so I could have missed something. Thanks |

The "report to tahiti" is a rope-a-dope in the scenario to take you away from the island to give the sub a fair chance to try and get away. If you ignore your orders and go ahead and cruise to the NE corner of the island, you can stop him cold when he appears and you have clearance to attack.

Ok on replays Im getting the sub alert. But now even if I kill the sub I get hit with a torpedo that the autocrew dosent seem to ever track. It never appears on the Nav map.
How the hell do you evade a torp without any decoys? |

Easy: Never give him a shot to begin with. You should be out of his firing arc and detection range while you manage both of your Seahawks to get a shooting solution on him. Order the Seahawks to kill him. There is no reason to engage directly.
