- you have just reinstalled SH5 (today?) and enabled various mods (mod list?)
- despite the short time, you have already progressed to october '40 and to the second campaign: happy times (I suppose you are playing the stock campaign, don't you?).
- you said that your progress bar don't get updated with sunk ships, nonetheless both the mission progress bar and the campaign progress crosses show some achievements (from previously sunk ships?).

By any chance, are you continuing an old campaign you had backed-up before uninstalling the game? If so, there are chances that some of the recently enabled mods conflicts with the old campaign.
