Either way Tom is gonna have a lot of grass stains on his butt this year I think.
I don't take to much stock in a preseason game. The idea is to get off the field without injury. It is squad practice really. Running routes and such. Offical game day is a totally different mind set and play calling.

Most preseason games got second and third string defenses, and the guys are not hitting as hard.

I read some articles about the Pats Being Number one, and others saying the niners are number one. Alot of articles trashing the Giants. (Which I really enjoy)

But we got 16 games to play.

Good luck to all, and greetings from the NJ chapter of Niners nation!

The key for the 49'ers is keeping the QB from getting injured. Kaepernick will probably be targeted every game so he does not start running. I hate to say it, I think he will get clipped and injured this year. QB should not be running and blocking.

Kaep looks to pass first,he more than proved that, and kinda learned from the RG3 fiasco, with him getting injured constantly running. Kaep got a cannon of an arm.

I mean a noob in the superbowl (and the league in general), and he was mister cool. He almost won it...Almost is crap, but he had the right stuff.

I saw a pic on the 49er twitter of Kaep hugging Alex Smith and felt kinda sad, Alex did so much for the niners, and he took this with grace. KC is going to be a good team this year thanks to him. Good man, and a solid qb.

I say Jim Harbaugh is to credit for both men, an ex qb himself.

(edit: NFL stupid trivia. Jim Harbaugh was replaced by Peyton Manning as the starting qb of the Colts.)

We'll see soopa. The opposing teams will look to defend his wanting to run. I think he will be rushed quite a bit producing hurried throws or a resulting sack. Then again, I'm in transportation so how can I really know this?

Yessir, 16 games, good luck!

Anquan Boldin. You will see alot of him (my prediction)

For 2 draft picks...

What did he do wrong besides kill the niners in the Bowl?
(edit: Like scat on the head and face, he murdered them, he earned Flaccos overrated contract.))

He left the Ravens.

Can't blame him. Offering up $120 mil to Flacco the pie got really small.

I wasn't saying that to be mean, I am just happy to patch up the holes in my own team. We had one real reciever, the rest was Vernon Davis, the tight end.

If it wasn't for our run, we would be dead, something the Ravens stuffed well in the bowl, not an easy feat.

Much respect here, I was in jaw dropping awe when I saw that trade. It just seemed so foolish for the Ravens.

It was completely understood you were not being mean. The Ravens offered Joe $120 mil. I don't think he is worth that. The other team members watched any type of increase in pay vanish with a swish of a pen. I can't blame them for leaving. So now we have a team of young players making less pay so the owner can afford Flacco. We will see where it goes. It will not go to the Super Bowl for a long time I can assure you that!

Any team would be a fool to discount Aaron Rodgers.

With all the attention on other teams the Pack is no longer "the hunted", they just may slide in there, it just depends on how well they upgraded defense and the run game, which were glaring holes last year for the Pack.

Good luck to you, I am a huge Rodgers fan. Great qb, and a down to earth kinda guy.

So long Tim Tebow. The Pats just released him.

My Panthers cut the Pickle (thankfully!)
Bout time!

I hate to see Tim go - not because I am a fan of his play, but I appreciate his character. He will be in Oakland in a few days - 2 weeks on the outside.

I wonder how Neal feels about that....

If not Oakland then maybe Buffalo given that they just released their QB.

The Bills still have 3 on the roster:
Maneul, Tuel and Lewis

They still have to cut 2 more players to get to 53. I don't know that I see them cutting 3 just to make room for Tebow. Though they have an injured O lineman that may end up on PUP or IR.
