We don't use the Rayburn any more since it tried to kill us (CO, long story) so we use standard coal on the living room fire. It is not cheap though, not cheap at all, we buy in the summer before the winter prices come in but even then it's about £6.88 at the moment, and will probably clock up to £7 a bag by the end of the month when the winter prices start. |

![]() Thermostat controlled blowers and stoker feed is great! It was made in a town just over the ridge from my home. Purchased from one of the inventors and a former partner in the company who now just sells them out of a small store not far from here.

Build more nuclear plants, save trees and coal.

I would be all for that if they could find a better method of disposing of the waste. Locking it up in a salt mine is temporary at best and sticking it in tank ammo kind of spreads it all over the place. Hmm, maybe that's the real reason for the actions in Iraq and Afghanistan?

![]() ![]() Not sure about that. There is some pretty strong data supporting the theory that this is Steed: or this (jeebus Steed, get a haircut already or go to the salon)

I was wondering that myself but it seems half of the existing nuclear facilities are to close in the next decade and there seemed to be a lot of foot dragging about getting anymore built:
http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/m...-strategy.html However, this newer article shows they have made a commitment to get 2 new plants built but they won't be ready till sometime mid 2020's. http://uk.reuters.com/article/2013/0...92P0K620130326 Last edited by mako88sb; 08-07-13 at 12:18 PM. |
