Lukla is a bad ass airport!

I don't know where the one at 4:00 is but the one after it is Tincontin International in Honduras. From the cockpit it doesn't look half as scary.

Wellington in NZ can be hairy due to the severe cross winds.

Once landed there in 110km/h gusts. Not a fun approach.

I thought that ATR-72 (or equiv!) had that much airspeed and so little ground speed that they were just going to hover and let the passengers out!
