Well, the crew of the USS Grenadier are going to have a big party tonight before going on patrol tomorrow. I think I'll even raise a toast to the skippers of my sister ships who departed today.

My patrol orders say Luzon....I'm thinking that I'll want to spend some time getting acquainted with the Japanese Home Islands. I might even try Tokyo Harbor if I'm feeling lucky. Right now, I'm off to talk to my XO. After the Ship's Party, I think I'll try and get a few Z's before I have to deal with getting underway tomorrow.
