Money may not be everything in life, but try to do without it.
Gold will be traded when steel coins and paper notes are no longer, and having something of value to trade helps to get food, shelter, and more. Philosophic deep insights into the transitory nature of things will not help you to bypass the very real necessities of ordinary life once it stands before you and bites you in your face.
