If an UPS dude wrecks his truck, and then paints up the logo (lol)
it depends!

if he stands by his actions and consequences, him and the law and the Victim, then all is okay.

if he tries to evade his responsabilities, then he is in deep do-do.

"Do the responsible people try to evade consequences"
that is the question to be asked.

"do they hide they faces behind a jacket"
is not an important question - because it is known who is the responsible party.

painting over a logo after a crash is a common thing.
as is hiding behind a jacket when entering/exiting the court.

it is an act of fleeding the public eye and or the media.
