Actually double checked and I did get credit. Counted as warship tonnage. I don't know why I thought troop transport would be merchant.

Troop Transports are Warships.... they carry troops to war.
![]() I happened upon a Neutral Small Passenger type-Troop Transport today heading out of Norway bound for the UK. She is now resting peacefully at the bottom of the North Sea.

one foot note to remember about the topic of sinking credits is if something else attacks the ship then IT and not you might get the sinking credit. if a plane or ship is firing at your target then the last blow before it registers as sunk is who gets the credit.
many times i've cursed planes who show up as its sinking and steal my tonnage ![]() |
