I like the high performance cars, never as much as the old warbirds though. Loved playing with matchbox cars now I just play real racing 2 on my phone (I also played burnout:takedown on a friend's PS2).

Here is a great conversion.



This is one I saw in a magazine back in '71 or so, and always wanted a picture of. The guy removed the back section from an early '60s Ford van, and welded another front in its place. I loved it because I had one of those, the first 'car' I ever owned.



This guy took the idea a step further.



And somebody else did the same with the 'pickup' variant Ford made for a couple of years.

A friend of mine had the Dodge van. He called it Frankenvan. We can see why!

Those older vans from the 60's and early 70's are getting very rare nowadays even in more original form.

I know guy that owns a 63 Convair truck it looks pretty cool a bit like like this one. It has some small block(not sure what size off the top of my head) it is as well not a stock engine:
